Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi’s reckless open border policies unleashed a flood of illegal immigrants into our country overwhelming our communities, straining our resources, and putting American families at risk. We must secure the border, finish the wall, and enforce the law. Those who break our immigration laws must face real consequences as a deterrence or the flood will never end. An illegal immigrant who commits a felony should be sent to prison for a minimum of five years and then deported.

Public schools are failing our children, neglecting the fundamentals they need to succeed in life. Instead, public schools push woke ideologies like critical race theory and transgenderism. Parents must have a voice in school curriculums and policies. I support school choice so parents can get their children out of failing schools and into schools that will provide the education their children need.

Joe Biden and his far-left allies in Congress walloped the poor and the middle class with devastating inflation. His torrent of wasteful spending gave us two trillion-dollar deficits, undercut the value of the dollar, and brought on high-interest rates. It’s time to cut spending and carefully scrutinize every spending bill to make cuts. I support a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.

Freedom of speech and the free exercise of religious faith form the bedrock of American liberty. Today, both of those freedoms are under assault from the Left. I will fight to end cancel culture, protect freedom of speech, and work to stop the Radical Left’s targeting of Christian conservatives.

The Democrats’ defunding of the police and soft-on-crime policies have brought deadly violence, along with rampant addiction and death from illegal drugs to our communities. As a prosecutor, I saw firsthand the devastation caused by drugs and crime, and I worked alongside sheriffs and police departments to investigate and convict drug dealers. I proudly and unapologetically ‘Back the Blue’ 100%. They put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe, and they deserve leaders who stand with them, not against them.

I oppose the Democrats’ efforts to legalize abortion up to the moment of birth. The Dobbs decision properly overruled Roe v. Wade, returning authority over abortion to the states. I’m pro-life. I support state laws protecting the unborn. Faith-based crisis pregnancy centers, which provide help to women and promote alternatives to abortion, are under attack and I will fight to protect them.

I will work to protect our right to keep and bear arms, as guaranteed by the Second Amendment. I was introduced to hunting by my grandfather, who taught me about responsible gun ownership and safety. As a prosecutor, I repeatedly saw the need of every citizen to protect themselves and their families. We already have numerous laws regulating firearms, including a background check system and prohibitions on the possession of guns by felons and drug addicts. We need to enforce the gun laws we have, not pass new ones that target the law-abiding rather than criminals.
